Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies, which encompasses requirements analysis, software design, prototyping, development, debugging, testing, and production support.

• Create, develop, debug, test, and deliver scalable enterprise web applications.

• Involve yourself in technical design and implementation choices.

• Recognize and proactively address concerns that may adversely impact software quality, system performance, scalability, or architecture due to requirements or specifications.

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, business stakeholders, and other members of cross-functional teams.

• Diagnose complex application and technical problems and devise effective solutions.

• Adopt a self-directed and proactive approach to problem-solving and software development.

• Act as a technical resource and mentor for fellow software engineers.

• Share technical knowledge and best practices to enhance application quality, maintainability, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience utilizing C#/.NET.

• More than 3 years of experience in developing web applications with ASP.NET.

• Proficient in developing multi-tier applications or components for high-volume systems.

• Extensive experience with SQL Server.

• Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in mentoring developers and/or providing technical leadership.

• Previous experience leading or supporting software development teams.

• Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC.

• Knowledge of ASP.NET Web API.

• Experience with Entity Framework.

• Familiarity with AngularJS or a comparable client-side JavaScript framework.
