Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain solutions that facilitate the management and orchestration of OneStream’s cloud hosting infrastructure.

• Spearhead design discussions and strategic planning.

• Establish intricate design requirements for significant features and new solutions.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

• Evaluate code for security best practices, coding standards, and release acceptance criteria.

• Contribute to the development of coding standards.

• Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.

• Analyze, design, develop, and uphold efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

• Ensure optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and formulate solutions.

• Maintain high standards in code quality, organization, and automation.

• Propose enhancements that improve usability and customer experience.

• Facilitate requirements discussions focused on the value delivered to both internal and external customers.

• Report directly to the Manager of Cloud Development while collaborating with engineering teams.

• Lead a dedicated group of engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline.

• Over 7 years of programming experience.

• Azure Certified Developer Associate certification.

• Azure Certified Architect Expert certification.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.

• Capability to create reusable libraries.

• Knowledge of design and architectural patterns.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Proficient in analyzing and conveying technical issues, leading discussions, and influencing decisions.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Experience in troubleshooting errors, analyzing log data, and devising resolutions.

• Understanding of cloud concepts, including elasticity, security, and identity management.

• Proficient in C#, PowerShell, VB .NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and Atlassian Jira.

• Experience with Azure Functions, Container Apps, Batch, and Azure Kubernetes Service.

• Familiarity with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, and various storage types including table, queue, and blob storage.

• Experience with Azure Application Insights and Dynatrace.

• Proficient in Blazor, Angular, and React.

• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Capability to research software-related issues and products.

• Willingness to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities.

• Comfortably interact with C-level executives.
