Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Create the next generation of medical imaging technologies.

• Design and implement robust distributed systems that power AI diagnostic solutions.

• Architect services that securely manage sensitive medical information and can scale efficiently.

• Develop scalable microservices architectures utilizing Kubernetes.

• Build event-driven systems with RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing of medical data.

• Construct FastAPI backends that efficiently process and serve medical imaging data at scale.

• Establish production-level CI/CD pipelines with capabilities for testing, monitoring, and rollback.

• Design scalable SQL data architectures incorporating indexing and caching strategies.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure clinical reliability.

• Integrate internal services with external healthcare systems via HL7 and FHIR standards.

• Develop React frontends to facilitate clinical workflows and data management.

• Collaborate with oncologists, nuclear medicine specialists, AI researchers, medical institutions, and pharmaceutical companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of full-stack engineering experience with products used by actual users.

• Strong skills in system design along with experience in architecting distributed systems and microservices.

• DevOps expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficient in backend development using Python with Flask or FastAPI.

• Expertise in SQL and relational data modeling.

• Experience with message queues and event-driven architecture patterns.

• Competency in frontend development with TypeScript and React.

• CEFR Level C1 or C2 certification in English, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency in English.

• Excellent communication skills coupled with a pragmatic approach to complex technical challenges.

• Experience in healthcare or medical software development is advantageous.

• Familiarity with GDPR and ISO 13485 is a plus.

• Experience integrating machine learning/analytics into production workflows is beneficial.

• Knowledge of threat modeling and compliance is an asset.

• Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi is advantageous.

• Experience with WebGL, WebGPU, Cornerstone3D, or VTK.js is a plus.
