Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Stay ahead of our rapidly expanding customer base and associated dataset by enhancing our data processing and storage capabilities from terabytes to petabytes and beyond.

• Develop and oversee bidirectional, real-time integrations with numerous EHRs, with the potential to scale to hundreds or even thousands of integrations.

• Propel enhancements to our core systems to enable a 100x increase in the number of practices, patients, and developers utilizing our platform.

• Manage cross-functional projects from inception to completion, including technical design, decomposition, and successful launch and rollout.

• Collaborate with engineering leaders and product managers to conceive, prioritize, and achieve ambitious engineering objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a software engineer, particularly in developing scalable back-end systems and platforms.

• Extensive experience in integrating and scaling storage systems, cloud-native services, and relevant open source projects, including the Kubernetes ecosystem, AWS, and PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with common DevOps tools and methodologies.

• Strong understanding of quality and security engineering principles, grasping not only the what but also the why.

• A clear vision of what excellent software and engineering entails, coupled with the technical expertise and leadership abilities to bring that vision to life.

• Exceptional systems-level thinking, with the ability to comprehend the various components of a distributed system, their interactions, and how customer journeys and data flows impact each part.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders and articulate business needs to the engineering team.
