Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience with a core Object-Oriented Programming language such as Java, C++, or C#.

• Knowledge of backend services and technologies is advantageous.

• Familiarity with deployment systems like GitHub Actions or AWS CodeDeploy.

• Understanding of AWS Services, including RDS, Lambda, EC2, etc.

• Comfortable with the Linux operating system and command-line utilities.

• Solid grasp of Object-Oriented design, algorithms, and data structures.

• Ability to swiftly learn new programming languages and technologies as required.

• Experience in developing websites with significant daily visitor traffic.

• Proven track record in enhancing SEO performance.

• Well-versed in AI-native tools that enhance productivity and speed, such as Cursor, Make, Supabase, Netlify, Claude Code, n8n, Firecrawl, ChatGPT, Grok, Bolt, Vercel, etc.

• Acknowledge and respect that Nerdy is an apolitical organization, focusing on helping people learn without being sidetracked by unrelated causes.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

• Proficient in English.
