Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate to define, design, and deliver new features in a production application.

• Enhance existing functionality and performance.

• Execute all facets of application design, from initial concepts through to deployment.

• Develop using TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS with Angular and RxJS.

• Write additional TypeScript leveraging Node.js, which supports serverless architecture on AWS.

• Design and implement APIs utilizing serverless REST APIs and WebSocket services.

• Manage infrastructure through CDK and CloudFormation.

• Oversee and enhance continuous integration and delivery processes.

• Conduct functional testing within a local development environment.

• Create unit tests and integration tests.

• Monitor new features post-deployment using Sentry.

• Work closely with product management to comprehend and elaborate on requirements.

• Collaborate with the software engineering team on new features, troubleshoot issues, and share knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with an emphasis on full-stack web application development.

• At least 2 years of experience with Angular, RxJS, and TypeScript.

• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing features for web applications as a full-stack engineer.

• Familiarity with cloud-based environments, particularly with AWS, Serverless, Lambda, S3, or similar technologies from Azure, Google Cloud, etc.

• Some experience with databases, specifically DynamoDB or a comparable database.

• Understanding of cloud computing security and scalability best practices.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

• Strong problem-solving and creative abilities, alongside the capability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
