Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute all facets of application design, including high-performance architecture, coding, caching strategies, security measures, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment setup, and testing.

• Create a framework and processes for application projects utilizing existing technologies, ensuring they are implemented in a structured and maintainable manner.

• Design efficient Stored Procedures and queries in MS SQL.

• Assess and enhance application performance.

• Oversee coordination, requirements gathering, software design, and project implementation.

• Collaborate primarily within the deployment and development solutions team, focusing on enhancing customer and development experiences.

• Conduct unit and system-level testing on applications.

• Work closely with product development teams, product management, design office, and services; assist in upgrade testing and resolution of upgrade issues.

• Address customer escalations as needed.

• Create automation tools, utilities, and scripts.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Handle, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) strictly in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.

• Maintain compliance with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times.

• Restrict viewing of PHI to the minimum necessary for performing assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• 7–10+ years of experience in C# .NET, with practical knowledge of .NET 6 and later versions.

• Proficient in Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio or JetBrains Rider.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, Athena, Glue, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, Comprehend, and Textract.

• Familiarity with Postgres (preferably Aurora PostgreSQL) or other relational databases.

• Expertise in crafting efficient and optimized SQL queries, including the ability to analyze execution plans to identify and rectify performance issues.

• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous workflows.

• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Blazor.

• Basic knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, inclusive of automated testing, builds, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning workflows (a plus).

• Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub.

• Knowledge of Python is an added advantage.

• Solid grounding in computer science principles, with strong skills in data structures, algorithms, and software design.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
