Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• You will oversee the complete development process of product features, from initial design to deployment and ongoing support.

• You will design and construct scalable backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.

• You will engage in frontend development utilizing contemporary frameworks, with a preference for React.

• You will create systems that prioritize reliability, observability, and maintainability.

• You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Customer Experience, and Integrations to provide customer-facing solutions.

• You will take part in code reviews, ensuring high standards for code quality and system design are maintained.

• You will enhance engineering processes, tooling, and documentation to facilitate scaling.

• You will influence technical decisions and contribute to the engineering culture as we expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Software Engineering.

• Proven track record in building and operating production systems at scale.

• Strong backend development skills, preferably with TypeScript and Node.js.

• Experience in creating modern frontend applications, with a preference for React.

• Familiarity with relational databases and the ability to write efficient SQL queries.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and modern deployment practices.

• Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability best practices.

• A builder mindset characterized by high agency and a sense of urgency.

• Demonstrated success in communicating and collaborating with Product, Design, Engineering, and non-technical stakeholders.
