Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives and features that span across various teams, collaborating with colleagues from different regions and departments to provide top-tier solutions.

• Design, implement, and sustain microservices and APIs that enhance API discoverability and management.

• Assist your team’s services in production by taking part in an on-call rotation.

• Develop automated tests to verify code behavior and prevent regressions.

• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by your manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in leading teams to develop, deliver, and sustain intricate software solutions.

• Proficient in Typescript, Javascript, and contemporary NodeJS frameworks such as NestJS.

• Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Experience in designing, prototyping, building, and troubleshooting microservices architectures and distributed systems.

• Background in developing and supporting SaaS platforms.

• Knowledge of version control using git and GitHub workflows.

• Skilled in test-driven development and automated testing practices.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience with Kubernetes.
