Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Engage with the Corrigo Platform, a comprehensive CMMS designed for facilities management operations, assets, work orders, maintenance, and analytics.

• Collaborate with Product Management to gather requirements and convert them into actionable tasks.

• Create new features while enhancing and optimizing existing functionalities, from initial conception and design through to testing and deployment.

• Assist Customer Services by resolving escalated issues effectively.

• Produce clean, high-quality, and maintainable code.

• Participate in code reviews by both submitting and evaluating code.

• Diagnose and independently resolve intricate domain issues.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools for code generation, automated testing, and code analysis.

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and the promotion of engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing SaaS/PaaS products.

• Proficiency in at least one area of frontend or backend development.

• Capability to comprehend business requirements and deliver effective technical designs and solutions.

• Experience in designing and developing relational databases.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies; Azure experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is essential.

• Active engagement with AI-powered development tools and the ability to assess and integrate new AI technologies.

• Skill in designing easily testable functionalities and creating robust tests.

• Proficiency in .NET Framework / .NET 8.

• Experience with ASP.NET Core / .NET Core MVC.

• Familiarity with ORM frameworks, such as Entity Framework or NHibernate.

• Understanding of API design concepts and RESTful web services.

• Experience with asynchronous processing, queues, topics, and related technologies.

• Background in distributed applications, service-oriented architecture, and caching mechanisms.

• Experience working with Azure, NoSQL databases, and Elasticsearch.

• Skilled in building and maintaining distributed applications using Kubernetes and Docker.

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.

• Experience with agile methodologies.
