Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop pioneering products that simplify retirement accounts for both employers and participants.

• Partner with subject matter experts to conceptualize, create, and evaluate new features and systems.

• Construct robust, observable, maintainable, and scalable systems.

• Design, develop, and sustain user experiences for both external and internal clients.

• Work on essential foundational services that act as the data conduit for the platform.

• Enhance intricate processes and systems to boost reliability and minimize manual intervention.

• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to exchange knowledge and develop expertise.

• Assume responsibility for system domains and make well-informed engineering trade-offs.

• Advocate for and provide exceptional experiences for internal and external users.

• Guide AI agents throughout the phases of prototyping, implementation, debugging, and code review.

• Broaden AI tools to automate repetitive engineering tasks and enhance code quality via AI-driven reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software development and maintenance in production environments.

• Enthusiasm for working with Node, TypeScript, Kotlin, React, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.

• Expertise with AI coding assistants like Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor.

• Excellent communication abilities with both technical and non-technical individuals.

• A strong desire to learn, think innovatively, and share knowledge.

• Enjoy mentoring engineers and conducting in-depth code reviews.

• A proactive and empathetic approach to addressing customer challenges.

• Previous experience in startup environments and/or the fintech sector.
