Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and maintain backend applications using Java.

• Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Create and implement data models and database schemas.

• Work in collaboration with the frontend team to integrate the backend with the user interface.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to code quality standards.

• Identify and resolve application issues through troubleshooting and debugging.

• Collaborate with the DevOps team for the deployment and management of applications in a production environment.

• Engage in continuous learning and keep abreast of new technologies and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Java Backend Developer or in a comparable position.

• Solid understanding of Java, the Spring Framework, and principles of object-oriented programming.

• Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient understanding of Git (including branches, submodules, and rebasing) and other Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence.

• Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services or other cloud platforms is advantageous.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
