Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services leveraging contemporary .NET technologies, with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Implement messaging, background processing, and workflow orchestration utilizing tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Create and integrate Azure resources for backend systems that are scalable, secure, and observable.

• Take ownership of work items throughout the entire process within a Kanban-based product development team, guiding stories from concept to production.

• Apply best practices in security, data protection standards, and organizational policies during backend development.

• Collaborate with product teams, frontend developers, and integration partners to deliver production-ready solutions that align with business objectives.

• Provide technical leadership through architectural guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and making design decisions involving clean architecture, vertical slice patterns, reliable messaging, and maintainable .NET 9/Azure SQL solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in backend development.

• Proficient in C# and .NET.

• Experience in building REST APIs and working with SQL databases.

• Familiarity with Git and software development best practices.

• Preferred: experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or 3PL environments.

• Preferred: experience with Azure, AWS, or cloud-based technologies.

• Preferred: knowledge of Docker and system integrations.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
