Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and maintain the data and AI platform to facilitate automation and self-service for data scientists, analytics engineers, and analysts.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts to transform ideas from concept into scalable production.

• Shape the technical vision of the platform.

• Balance the ambition to release code with the obligation to ensure quality.

• Enhance the team's delivery processes and streamline workflows.

• Support, mentor, and coach Engineers within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of pertinent development experience in creating production-grade solutions.

• More than 5 years of experience leading the design of reliable and scalable services and APIs.

• Hands-on production experience with SaaS products.

• Proficient in a high-order object-oriented programming language, particularly Python; open to Go, Java, Scala, or C#.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and processing high-volume data.

• Practical experience in event stream processing, transformation, and enrichment using technologies such as Flink and Kafka.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for production services.

• Knowledge of public cloud service platforms.

• Experience in partnering and collaborating with remote teams across various time zones.

• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and apply that knowledge swiftly.

• Experience in integrating observability and monitoring into applications.
