Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and develop scalable web applications and APIs utilizing React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

• Construct and manage a Node.js backend with REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs.

• Engage in architectural decision-making for both frontend and backend systems.

• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to provide innovative solutions.

• Convert operational requirements into effective technical implementations.

• Take part in and enhance CI/CD pipelines and developer tools.

• Mentor and support new engineers joining the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant software engineering experience, generally 5+ years.

• Strong full-stack development background in creating modern web applications.

• Expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

• Backend proficiency with Node.js, including service and API development.

• Experience in designing and utilizing relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or Azure.

• Knowledge of containerized workloads via Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).

• Understanding of infrastructure as code principles; experience with Terraform is advantageous.

• Comfort with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools).

• Strong product instincts and a collaborative approach.

• Ability to thrive in environments where systems and processes are still evolving.
