Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in enhancing their business systems through the Atlassian suite by facilitating the transition from third-party tools to Atlassian applications, utilizing best practices and recommendations.

• Collaborate with clients to strategize Atlassian migrations, execute the migrations, and resolve any issues that arise after the implementation of Atlassian solutions.

• Evaluate clients' existing systems by collecting requirements and analyzing the current usage of applications.

• Investigate potential migration options and present proposals to clients for their migration needs.

• Provide consultation, development, and implementation of infrastructure for new product deployments as required by the project.

• Work in conjunction with a Systems Architect on application and data configurations.

• Create custom tools and scripts to streamline the data migration process.

• Merge Atlassian applications/environments, and configure Atlassian Access alongside external authentication platforms such as Azure, AD, LDAP, Okta, OneLogin, Google Workspace, and others.

• Explore migration solutions from non-Atlassian platforms like Rally, Zendesk, ServiceNow, and others.

• Carry out both test and production migrations, making necessary adjustments to processes as needed.

• Address any issues that may occur during the implementation phase.

• During and after implementation, lead transformation workshops and training sessions for the new platform.

• Offer post-implementation support by resolving emerging issues.

• Support clients' end-users through assessments and the execution of implemented solutions.

• Continuously analyze the new post-migration environment and compile reports outlining problems and potential solutions.

• Provide administrative assistance to clients by collaborating with project stakeholders to support daily operations.

• Advise on application functionalities and possible enhancements.

• Implement application and platform configuration changes based on client requests.

• Occasional travel of up to 40% to client locations throughout the U.S.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with five (5) years of experience.

• The aforementioned five (5) years of experience must demonstrate progressive responsibility.

• Requires five (5) years of experience in: Atlassian Cloud, Azure, AWS, Groovy, Python, and SQL. Occasional travel of up to 40% to client locations throughout the U.S.
