This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the enhancement and support of high-caliber software modules within the Cotiviti product suite.
• Investigate and resolve software-related challenges arising from both internal and external customers.
• Create documentation for application specifications, design, features, and operations prior to production deployment.
• Implement solution enhancements aimed at boosting performance and availability.
• Relay technical and operational concerns to engineering and business leadership promptly.
• Ensure compliance with technology standards during system development.
• Investigate new concepts and introduce innovative improvements to processes or systems that enhance efficiency and outcomes.
• Continuously expand knowledge of the technologies chosen and integrated within the Cotiviti product suite.
• Execute all relevant aspects of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle.
• Mentor fellow developers.
• Fulfill responsibilities detailed in the annual Performance Plan.
• Complete special projects and other designated tasks.
• Collaborate with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in optimizing and tuning SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• 4-5 years of experience with Java or Python.
• 4-5 years of experience with Appian or Cloudera Hadoop.
• 4-5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, or Hive.
• 4-5 years of experience with web services utilizing Java/Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding and application of SAFe agile practices is preferred.
• Proficient in working with large data sets.
• Possess critical thinking skills and make data-driven decisions.
• Have a keen attention to detail across code, data, and deliverables.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Capable of deriving actionable insights from data, metrics, and visualizations.
• Able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Adaptable to new tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Flexible in responding to shifting priorities and performing under pressure.
• Responsible in handling data while upholding engineering and ethical standards.
• Must provide a dedicated, secure workspace with reliable high-speed internet.
