Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from initial product discussions and design through to implementation and launch.

• Develop new products for issuers and distribution partners, which will comprise over 90% of your focus.

• Deliver quickly and iterate. Rapidly test ideas, present them to users, and learn from their feedback.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance your development workflow while maintaining a critical perspective.

• Work across the technology stack — including backend (Elixir/Phoenix + REST APIs) and frontend (TypeScript/Next.js) with AWS infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong full-stack abilities — comfortable building and deploying independently from concept to production.

• Proven track record of owning and delivering product features with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong leadership in engineering, including mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance and feedback, facilitating technical decision-making, and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

• Backend: Familiarity with Elixir/Phoenix or experience with equivalent backend frameworks.

• Frontend: Proficient in TypeScript and modern frameworks (Next.js preferred).

• APIs: Experience in building and utilizing REST APIs.

• Fundamentals: Solid understanding of system design, data structures, and principles of clean code.

• Prior experience in the fintech or cryptocurrency sectors.

• Production experience with Elixir/Phoenix or Next.js.

• Experience in developing for issuers, distribution platforms, or marketplace-style products.

• Experience in a startup or early-stage company environment.
