Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive software solutions that expand Cherry's presence in more practices and introduce new products beyond Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL).

• Make key architectural choices that influence Cherry's platform across front-end, back-end, integrations, and infrastructure.

• Establish and execute systems for observability, monitoring, and metrics that enhance the safety, speed, and reliability of our products for both practices and patients.

• Work collaboratively with product, design, data, and operations teams to quickly deliver impactful features and engage in experiments aimed at achieving measurable results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in environments focused on product development.

• Demonstrated success in delivering dependable, high-quality applications utilizing modern frameworks, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure.

• Full-stack experience with a generalist approach, along with knowledge of infrastructure, distributed systems concepts, and observability practices.

• Excels in uncertain environments and rapid growth while contributing to the development of Cherry's engineering culture.

• Capability to collaborate across different time zones, ensuring regular early-morning meetings with European teammates during the initial phase of team development.
