This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Convert raw requirements into effective system designs and implementations.
• Take ownership of feature lifecycles from initial development to production deployment and continuous Operations & Maintenance.
• Design, construct, and uphold high-throughput, low-latency services using C++, Go, and Python.
• Test, fine-tune, and validate algorithms with historical and simulated datasets prior to live deployment.
• Create high-performance inter-application communication protocols for real-time data exchange.
• Enhance data structures, Protobuf serialization, and Redis Streams.
• Architect and oversee data pipelines from sensor data ingestion to transformation, storage, and delivery.
• Integrate tracking, inference, and sensor-fusion algorithms into production services.
• Develop REST APIs and service integrations.
• Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Manage containerized services on Kubernetes utilizing Argo and Helm in GCP.
• Document systems, runbooks, and integrations.
• Foster a high-trust engineering culture.
• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on generalist, backend, and systems development.
• Extensive experience in building, tuning, and operating real-time systems.
• Strong expertise in C++, with production experience in implementing high-performance, low-latency algorithms preferred.
• Proficiency in Python for prototyping is preferred.
• Capability to utilize historical and simulated data to refine algorithms and system logic.
• Strong understanding of data interfaces, including IPC, high-speed messaging protocols, and robust application interfaces.
• Expertise in algorithms, data structures, system internals, computational complexity, memory constraints, and system performance under load.
• Experience with streaming data systems such as Redis Streams or Kafka.
• Familiarity with tools like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, GCP or equivalent cloud infrastructure, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment and utilizing agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
