Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create solutions and implement intricate features across product platforms from start to finish.

• Define, implement, validate, deploy, and support features utilizing AI tools and collaborative agents like Claude Code.

• Take ownership of specification quality for complex features, including edge cases and non-functional requirements.

• Convert product requirements into comprehensive technical specifications in collaboration with the Product Manager.

• Drive technical decisions and provide domain expertise within the team.

• Oversee AI-assisted implementation and assess AI-generated and peer code for accuracy, security, performance, and alignment with architecture.

• Validate tests generated by AI and guarantee extensive test coverage.

• Enhance AI-assisted development methodologies, encompassing specification templates, prompt patterns, and validation processes.

• Design scalable software and REST APIs with a DevOps approach.

• Maintain and support both UI and backend services.

• Guide engineers on the effective use of AI tools, specification writing, and best practices for code reviews.

• Disseminate knowledge across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of applicable software engineering experience in designing and implementing scalable SaaS solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong grasp of data structures and scalable software architecture.

• Proficient coding skills in C#, C++, PHP, Java, Node.js, or a comparable high-level programming language.

• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS/Sass, Angular, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and REST APIs.

• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.

• Experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools.

• Strong skills in code review for both AI-generated and human-written code.

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, including mentoring engineers and engaging with Product Managers and cross-functional teams.

• Experience with source control management using Git or a similar system.

• Preferred: experience with spec-driven agentic AI workflows.

• Preferred: experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB and cloud services like AWS or Azure.

• Preferred: knowledge of testable application design principles.

• Preferred: experience in improving development processes or optimizing workflows.
