Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs using Python and other programming languages.

• Create and sustain services focused on geometry processing, simulation orchestration, and real-time data management.

• Architect schemas and data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data utilizing PostgreSQL, S3, Redis, and RabbitMQ.

• Take ownership of and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure, including GitHub Actions and the Hashicorp stack.

• Collaborate with product teams and designers to establish intuitive interfaces for tooling engineers and internal users.

• Analyze and optimize performance-critical workloads, particularly those involving GPU-accelerated simulation tasks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in building and deploying production software at scale.

• Expertise in at least one systems programming language (Go, Rust, or C++) and one scripting language (with a preference for Python).

• Proven experience in designing and scaling distributed systems, data pipelines, or high-performance computing services.

• Hands-on knowledge of distributed computing, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD practices.

• Comfortable operating in hybrid environments, including both cloud-based and on-premise settings, with experience in bare-metal GPU systems.

• Strong communication skills, enabling the clear explanation of complex concepts both in writing and verbally.

• Experience with 3D geometry kernels (e.g., Parasolid, OpenCascade) or CAD/CAM workflows (Bonus Points For).

• Familiarity with simulation, manufacturing, robotics, or hardware-in-the-loop systems (Bonus Points For).

• Understanding of regulatory constraints such as ITAR, CMMC, or similar (Bonus Points For).

• Experience in developing tools for developers, SDKs, or internal platforms (Bonus Points For).
