Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications based on ColdFusion.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

• Engage in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications and production.

• Enhance and maintain existing legacy systems.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs.

• Integrate with both third-party and internal APIs.

• Implement and support authentication flows based on OAuth.

• Work with API authentication methods, including token-based security.

• Support integrations for identity and access management (e.g., Keycloak).

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Maintain and provide support for Microsoft SQL Server databases.

• Perform query tuning and assist in enhancing database performance.

• Translate business requirements into effective solutions for applications and databases.

• Support and configure ColdFusion environments utilizing ColdFusion Administrator.

• Deploy and support applications hosted on IIS.

• Collaborate closely with QA, Business Analysis, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams.

• Participate in peer code reviews.

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software development.

• 3+ years of practical experience in ColdFusion development.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.

• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with implementing OAuth and API authentication methods.

• Knowledge of identity management platforms such as Keycloak.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Glean, Claude Code, or similar) to enhance productivity, documentation, and code quality.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.

• Experience in deploying and supporting applications in IIS environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
