Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Engage actively in the enhancement of legacy .NET Framework applications (Windows Services, Console Apps, Web Forms) to .NET 8.

• Update user interfaces utilizing Blazor and Angular, transitioning from outdated Web Forms.

• Refactor and enhance existing codebases for better maintainability and scalability.

• Collaborate with DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies (Azure/AWS/GCP).

• Ensure smooth database integration using ADO.NET and micro-ORMs such as Dapper.

• Serve as a technical mentor to junior developers throughout modernization initiatives.

• Lead architectural conversations regarding microservices, API-first design, and contemporary security practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in .NET development.

• In-depth knowledge of .NET Framework (4.x) and .NET 8.

• Practical experience with Windows Services, Console Apps, and Web Forms.

• Demonstrated experience with Blazor (Server/Web Assembly) and Angular (2+).

• Skilled in ADO.NET and micro-ORMs such as Dapper.

• Strong expertise in application containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiar with SQL Server (or equivalent relational databases).

• Knowledgeable in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
