Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and scale AI-powered systems that enhance our virtual agent functionalities, encompassing conversational reasoning, retrieval systems, tool calling, and automation workflows;

• Construct backend services and data pipelines that unify multiple APIs (Amadeus, Sabre, internal systems, and third-party platforms) to facilitate real-time decision-making;

• Develop and deploy AI agents that address actual business challenges;

• Take charge of architectural decisions for distributed, high-performance AI applications;

• Continuously enhance model performance, reliability, observability, and evaluation frameworks;

• Assist in defining engineering best practices and contribute to the technical direction of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in developing or integrating products utilizing LLMs

• Over 5 years of experience in building production software systems

• Extensive experience in designing and developing scalable backend applications

• Familiarity with AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, tool-calling systems, or orchestration frameworks

• Experience with technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Google ADK, CrewAI, MCP, or similar frameworks

• Proficient in Python

• Strong understanding of Linux runtime environments

• Experience in identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Inquisitive, proactive, and enthusiastic about learning new technologies

• Bonus points if you have:

• - Practical experience with agentic AI systems

• - Knowledge of RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases

• - Familiarity with AI evaluation and monitoring frameworks

• - Experience in travel-tech or GDS integrations

• - Knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD tools

• - Contributions to open-source projects, side projects, or technical writing

• - A startup mindset and comfort with ambiguity
