Senior Software Engineer – Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of features from conception to completion—data modeling, Rails API, and front-end development—in a dynamic, agile setting.

• Develop product interfaces on top of LLMs and agents: including data ingestion, structured data management, and user interfaces for reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs.

• Collaborate with a team lead or AI Engineer to transform unstructured ideas into tangible features.

• Work closely with product leadership to determine priorities and define project scopes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.

• Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails, particularly in designing and developing APIs.

• Proficient in JavaScript / ES6 and familiar with a modern front-end framework (React is preferred).

• Comfortable working across the entire stack, including relational databases like MySQL.

• Experience in building products with agentic workflows: prompting, managing non-deterministic outputs, and designing for human-in-the-loop review processes.

• Strong understanding of core web technologies, including HTTP, REST, and JSON.

• Capable of breaking down complex and ambiguous challenges into manageable, deployable segments.

• Excel in fast-paced startup environments and readily adapt to shifting priorities.
