This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

β’ Resolve issues, address security vulnerabilities, and optimize system performance.

β’ Execute technical solutions grounded in robust design principles and industry best practices.
β’ Participate in and adhere to software development methodologies and protocols.
β’ Document software modifications, best practices, and established standards.
β’ Stay updated on tools, technologies, programming best practices, and industry trends through ongoing training and development.
β’ Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and professional experience is required.
β’ Typically, at least 5 years of experience in a professional technical setting is necessary.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of professional software design and development experience is required.
β’ Hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform (application development, process modeling) is essential.
β’ Experience in integrating Appian with external systems and services (APIs, data sources) is required.
β’ A general understanding of Python, YAML, JSON, Azure DevOps, and Git source control is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, ideally Agile/Lean or Kanban, is preferred.
β’ Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Classic ASP, VB Script, Entity Framework, WPF, JavaScript, IIS, HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT, MSMQ, NServiceBus, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Git, or other version control tools is necessary.
β’ Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control systems is preferred.
β’ Cloud development experience with Azure or AWS is an advantage.
β’ Capability to work effectively within a team environment.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Ability to instruct and mentor fellow software engineers.
