β€’ Create adaptable and sustainable solutions by adhering to guidelines, requirements, and industry standards.

β€’ Address development challenges through effective design and practical experience.

β€’ Assess, modify, enhance, and sustain existing systems.

β€’ Resolve issues, address security vulnerabilities, and optimize system performance.

β€’ Engage in planning and analyze user stories.

β€’ Offer insights and demonstrate comprehension of user needs.

β€’ Execute technical solutions grounded in robust design principles and industry best practices.

β€’ Participate in and adhere to software development methodologies and protocols.

β€’ Document software modifications, best practices, and established standards.

β€’ Stay updated on tools, technologies, programming best practices, and industry trends through ongoing training and development.

β€’ Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and professional experience is required.

β€’ Typically, at least 5 years of experience in a professional technical setting is necessary.

β€’ A minimum of 4 years of professional software design and development experience is required.

β€’ Hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform (application development, process modeling) is essential.

β€’ Experience in integrating Appian with external systems and services (APIs, data sources) is required.

β€’ A general understanding of Python, YAML, JSON, Azure DevOps, and Git source control is preferred.

β€’ Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, ideally Agile/Lean or Kanban, is preferred.

β€’ Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Classic ASP, VB Script, Entity Framework, WPF, JavaScript, IIS, HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT, MSMQ, NServiceBus, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Git, or other version control tools is necessary.

β€’ Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control systems is preferred.

β€’ Cloud development experience with Azure or AWS is an advantage.

β€’ Capability to work effectively within a team environment.

β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

β€’ Ability to instruct and mentor fellow software engineers.
