Senior Software Engineer, Appian Group

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and professional experience is required.

• Typically, at least 5 years of experience in a professional technical setting is necessary.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional software design and development experience is required.

• Hands-on experience with the Appian low-code platform (application development, process modeling) is essential.

• Experience in integrating Appian with external systems and services (APIs, data sources) is required.

• A general understanding of Python, YAML, JSON, Azure DevOps, and Git source control is preferred.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, ideally Agile/Lean or Kanban, is preferred.

• Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Classic ASP, VB Script, Entity Framework, WPF, JavaScript, IIS, HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT, MSMQ, NServiceBus, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Git, or other version control tools is necessary.

• Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, or other source control systems is preferred.

• Cloud development experience with Azure or AWS is an advantage.

• Capability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to instruct and mentor fellow software engineers.
