Senior Software Engineer, AI Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Assess AI-generated coding interactions from start to finish

• Determine if outputs are beneficial, accurate at a high level, and reflect the thought process of a proficient engineer

• Evaluate the quality of explanations and reasoning, not solely the code

• Differentiate between varying levels of response quality

• Provide clear, well-informed written feedback on what was effective, what was lacking, and any aspects that felt off or misleading

• Contribute to defining excellence when utilizing Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code

• Create short video explanations

• Projects typically last between two weeks to several months

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior, Staff, or Principal-level engineer (or equivalent experience)

• Solid background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python

• Practical experience with at least one of OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor

• Extensive knowledge of modern AI-assisted development workflows

• Capable of assessing code without executing it or reviewing every line

• Strong written and verbal English skills (B2 or higher)

• Comfortable providing direct, opinionated feedback

• High standards for quality engineering

• Prior experience with prompt design or evaluation workflows is a plus

• Experience mentoring senior engineers or establishing engineering standards is advantageous

• Must complete a take-home evaluation exercise accompanied by a recorded Loom walkthrough

• Must consent to a straightforward background check for the project
