Senior Software Engineer – AI Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and develop comprehensive features for the Aging in Place member demographic.

• Deliver across backend services, APIs, as well as iOS and Android platforms.

• Utilize Claude Code and agentic workflows for specifications, coding, testing, reviews, and documentation.

• Establish AI-Native engineering practices and release playbooks for wider adoption.

• Create high-performing, dependable full-stack experiences for millions of users.

• Work in tandem with product managers and designers to develop scalable solutions.

• Take part in architectural decisions, code reviews, technical standards, and continuous improvement processes.

• Engage in on-call rotation and incident management.

• Provide mentorship to team members and promote the adoption of AI-native workflows.

• Ensure performance, reliability, and accessibility across the features you manage.

• Adapt Aging in Place patterns and services for the Things and Pets verticals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building and managing high-quality, consumer-focused services.

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in prompting, assessing, and developing with LLMs.

• Proficient in full-stack development covering backend services and mobile client development (iOS and/or Android).

• Extensive experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context window management, and MCP/function calling.

• Proven history of leveraging AI tools as a genuine partner in development.

• Strong skills in ownership, communication, and collaboration.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Daily usage of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

• Responsible for reviewing AI-generated code and all deliverables.

• Up-to-date knowledge of the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape.
