This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of a specific technical domain, such as the Model Context Protocol ecosystem, wk-ai-prototyping repository, or automated testing agents.
• Design and maintain internal MCP servers that integrate with Jira, Splunk, Datadog, and other systems.
• Deploy cloud-based autonomous agents within FedRAMP boundaries.
• Independently produce sustainable, reusable, and optimized software solutions through defined milestones.
• Assess new AI tools like Qodo, Cursor, and Claude Code for architectural and security compliance.
• Create documentation for “Golden Paths” and playbooks regarding AI usage in engineering workflows.
• Provide guidance to product teams on integrating AI agents and resolving technical challenges.
• Implement and track AI impact metrics utilizing tools such as Mstone.
• Mentor colleagues on AI-enhanced development practices and lead “Review-First” code evaluations.
• Present successful AI applications and strategic achievements during engineering sync meetings.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong expertise in back-end services, proxy servers, and API integrations.
• Preferred experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Extensive familiarity with AI-augmented IDEs (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to ensure high throughput and quality.
• Capability to convert complex technical implementations into clear, actionable documentation for the wider engineering team.
