AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design and implement hierarchical multi-agent workflows utilizing LangGraph.

• Transform outdated single-prompt applications into modular and autonomous systems.

• Develop domain-specific sub-agents featuring dynamic and on-demand context-loading mechanisms.

• Enhance operational security, performance, latency, and token costs.

• Incorporate scalable tool-calling functionalities and standardized connectors through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Oversee and configure LangFuse for LLM reasoning traces, performance metrics, and cost distribution.

• Create regression testing suites and automated evaluation frameworks with PromptFlow or PromptFoo.

• Collaborate with security leads to implement access controls and OWASP Top 10-compliant guardrail frameworks for LLM applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional backend software development experience, primarily focused on Python and scalable architecture.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in building production-grade AI agents or intricate LLM workflows using LangGraph or LangChain.

• Extensive experience with foundational models, including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and Google Gemini.

• Experience with open-weight models and sophisticated prompt engineering techniques.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 Agents SDK.

• Direct experience in establishing LLM observability platforms like LangFuse.

• Knowledge of automated evaluation and testing frameworks.

• Practical expertise in containerized deployments using Docker across cloud environments such as Azure.

• Strong ownership mentality and an empathetic communication style.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Capable of direct engagement with U.S. engineering teams.
