Senior Software Engineer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable software systems focused on AI.

• Spearhead the creation of agentic AI functionalities aimed at identifying vulnerabilities, streamlining penetration testing processes, optimizing workflows, and enhancing threat intelligence.

• Take ownership of the complete development lifecycle of product features, from initial concept through to production deployment and ongoing monitoring.

• Actively engage in and lead the design and implementation of AI-driven systems, fostering effective Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.

• Facilitate technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and lead design sessions, sharing your knowledge to elevate the team's skills.

• Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting their professional growth and development.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into larger systems and applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in distributed systems and backend software engineering.

• Proficient in AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, MCP, and others.

• Strong understanding of token usage optimization and techniques for reducing LLM costs.

• Extensive knowledge of Golang (4+ years) along with solid practical experience in Python.

• Significant experience with microservices, REST API design, gRPC, unit testing, and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) testing.

• Strong design skills are essential – familiarity with UML is advantageous; exposure to Domain Driven Design is preferred.

• Experience with asynchronous messaging technologies like Google PubSub and Kafka.

• In-depth knowledge of both NoSQL and RDBMS technologies.

• Strong practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Environments (GCP preferred).

• Experience working in agile teams.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across all mediums.

• Proven experience in working on and scaling a microservice-based application.

• Demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative environment involving diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts.
