
Senior Software Engineer – Agents

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage with the agent infrastructure and platforms that serve as the foundation for Nebulock's agents.
• Develop and sustain the agents that drive Nebulock's agentic threat hunting platform.
• Share ownership of the TRACE Graph and other knowledge repositories.
• Ensure that agents continually adapt based on feedback and learning.
• Collaborate effectively with detection engineers and threat hunters to embed domain expertise into the agents.
• Persistently iterate, assess, and work cross-functionally to ensure agents function like expert detection engineers and threat hunters.
• Design, construct, and maintain scalable data structures tailored for agents, which include the TRACE graph, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Guarantee that agents operate safely and as intended.
• Create and uphold automated evaluations and benchmarks that facilitate swift iteration without regressions.
• Offer feedback and direction to fellow engineers involved in agent development.
• Contribute to additional backend systems as required.
• Over 4 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience developing customer-facing agentic systems in a production environment.
• Strong foundational knowledge in backend software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Java, Go, Rust, or comparable programming languages.
• Comprehensive understanding of agentic architectures and their respective tradeoffs.
• Experience in designing, building, and assessing production RAG systems.
• Extensive experience with agent evaluations and observability.
• Familiarity with either AWS or GCP.
• Capability to adapt, iterate, and deliver solutions swiftly.
• A strong desire for growth and a commitment to working in a low-ego environment.
• Ability to stay informed about the latest advancements in the LLM and agent domains while maintaining a relentless focus on customer value.
• Experience in cybersecurity.
• Prior experience in a startup environment.

• Experience in evaluating the performance of various LLMs.
