Senior Software Engineer – Agentic Platform, Integrations (Full Stack)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Establish foundational capabilities for Samsara’s intelligent experiences, allowing AI agents to securely discover data, utilize tools, integrate with external systems, and execute dependable workflows at an enterprise level.

• Create systems that prioritize high throughput, availability, observability, security, and maintainability.

• Utilize Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor throughout design, implementation, testing, debugging, and code review processes.

• Enhance frameworks, tools, and engineering practices within Samsara.

• Mentor engineers and take part in architectural decisions and technical strategy development.

• Advocate for and instill Samsara’s cultural principles.

• Recruit, nurture, and lead a diverse, engaged, and high-performing team.

• Develop full-stack solutions with a focus on backend and distributed systems.

• Construct and manage platform capabilities such as APIs, MCP servers, integration frameworks, event-driven platforms, and analytical data systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional software engineering experience in building and operating production systems.

• Experience in enterprise-level developer platforms, integration frameworks, event-driven systems, data platforms, or analytical reporting infrastructure.

• Proven experience in operating production software at an enterprise scale or handling high transaction and data volumes.

• Strong backend engineering expertise, including API design, distributed systems, data modeling, reliability, and observability.

• Experience in delivering full-stack functionality across frontend and backend boundaries.

• Expert practical knowledge of AI coding assistants such as Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor.

• Capability to make informed engineering trade-offs and communicate technical decisions effectively.

• Position available to candidates living in Poland.

• Legal authorization to work for the company in the specified location.

• Ideally, possess additional experience with public-facing REST or GraphQL APIs, high-throughput event-streaming platforms, extensible integration/application frameworks, and distributed data-fetching, query execution, reporting, or analytical systems.
