This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Design, develop, and sustain robust, scalable backend services adhering to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Assume complete technical responsibility for features — from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Construct and orchestrate agentic workflows: autonomous pipelines where AI models (Claude, LLMs) perform actions, utilize tools, and resolve tasks with minimal human involvement.
• Actively engage in architectural decisions with strong analytical skills and technical acumen.
• Guarantee code quality through SDD, TDD, and BDD methodologies, with a keen eye for detail.
• Collaborate on code reviews, refinements, and technical planning.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities (OWASP, SOLID).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines across Bitbucket, GitLab, or GitHub.
• Create well-considered technical designs prior to writing the initial line of code.
• Over 5 years of experience in backend or full-stack software development.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI systems — developing agents, designing tool utilization, engaging with LLM APIs, or automating intricate workflows using AI.
• Strong technical analysis and design capabilities: able to decompose complex issues, propose well-founded solutions, and contemplate the ramifications of architectural choices.
• Critical thinking: you don’t execute tasks mindlessly. You question, challenge, and enhance — including the outputs generated by AI tools.
• Attention to detail: the code you deliver is clean, tested, and thoroughly documented. You apply the same standards to AI-generated code.
• Genuine ownership: you're responsible for what you build — in production, over time.
• Autonomy: you know how to proceed independently, and when to raise concerns.
• Proactive mindset: you spotlight improvements, identify issues before they escalate, and freely share knowledge.
• Eagerness to learn: the agentic era is advancing rapidly, and you’re keeping pace with it.
• Proficient in professional English, both written and spoken.
• Fully remote — work from anywhere within the European timezone (CET ±2h).
• Small, technical team with minimal overhead.
• Direct impact: your decisions are implemented in production.
• A culture of honest feedback and ongoing improvement.
• Access to modern tools — including cutting-edge AI — and the liberty to suggest new methods.
• A front-row view of the agentic engineering transition, not just as a user but as a creator.
