Senior Software Engineer – Agentic AI Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create and deploy autonomous AI agents and multi-agent systems utilizing LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.

• Construct and enhance RAG pipelines that incorporate vector databases alongside LLMs.

• Develop architectures for tool-use and function-calling that integrate APIs, internal systems, and external services.

• Oversee and improve ingestion, transformation, and vector-store update data pipelines.

• Work in partnership with data scientists and ML engineers to operationalize and refine LLMs.

• Incorporate Azure AI and GCP Vertex AI into agentic workflows.

• Establish evaluation, observability, and guardrails for LLM-based systems.

• Design authentication and authorization mechanisms for multi-agent systems.

• Create conversational and agentic experiences, including chatbots, copilots, and task-automation agents.

• Assess emerging agentic frameworks, orchestration tools, and LLM providers for performance and cost-effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar agent orchestration frameworks.

• In-depth knowledge of vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval strategies.

• Familiarity with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models.

• Experience with Azure AI and GCP Vertex AI.

• High proficiency in Python.

• Experience in designing APIs and integrating agents with existing systems and data sources.

• Basic knowledge or proven proficiency with data pipelines and cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery is a plus but not mandatory.

• Experience in identity and access management within distributed or service-oriented systems.

• Understanding of token-based authentication and authorization propagation across service boundaries.

• Comprehension of LLM evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.

• Analytical mindset with exceptional communication skills.

• Capability to articulate technical concepts to both engineers and business stakeholders.

• Experience in modern Agile/Kanban environments.

• Bilingual proficiency in English.

• Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate certification.

• Preferred: LangChain/LlamaIndex certifications.

• Demonstrated proficiency in agentic development through production-grade code, deployed agentic systems, or an equivalent hands-on portfolio.
