Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design automation scripts using Java or TypeScript to create testing frameworks, enhance functionality, and automate testing infrastructures.

• Manage the scope of release modifications and take responsibility for end-to-end testing.

• Bring innovative ideas from the market and engage with the wider community.

• Contribute to the progress of artificial intelligence advancements.

• Work closely with QA teams located in Krakow, the US, and other international teams.

• Provide support to engineering and product teams.

• Shape the capabilities of Akamai’s Core platform.

• Develop testing frameworks employing agile methodologies along with Java, TypeScript, or Python.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in coding with TypeScript, Java, or Python.

• Experience in automation testing.

• Familiarity with Playwright or Cypress.

• Knowledge of Web API testing.

• Understanding of TestNG and/or JUnit frameworks.

• In-depth knowledge of internet technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, and SSL.

• Practical experience in integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams in Krakow, the US, and other global locations.
