
Senior Software Development Engineer – Full Stack Java/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Participate in all facets of agile software development, encompassing design, implementation, and deployment, while taking ownership of your delivery metrics alongside Agile Delivery managers, resource planning, and risk management.
• Collaborate with functional SMEs, frontend developers, and business teams to create API-first systems.
• Primarily work with server-side technologies such as Java, React, and Node.js, as well as messaging frameworks like Kafka.
• Coordinate across time zones using Microsoft Teams, ADO, GitHub comments, documents, and regular videoconferences.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability, while upholding high standards for code quality and application design.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field, along with 4 - 6 years of experience in a similar domain. Relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience in the mortgage or financial services sector, particularly with loan servicing systems, document management, and SaaS platforms, is advantageous.
• Profound understanding of cloud-native architecture and SaaS platforms.
• Experience in developing large-scale enterprise distributed event-driven applications.
• Proficiency in designing, building, and integrating RESTful and streaming APIs, as well as event-driven messaging frameworks.
• Familiar with security and compliance standards relevant to fintech/mortgage (preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise and integration design patterns.
• Solid understanding of Node.js, Java, Kafka, databases, and API gateways.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Comprehension of business process management engines and business rules engines.
• Knowledge of scaling and performance tuning for applications.
• Experience in establishing observability and logging tools/frameworks.
• Excellent skills in debugging and optimization.
• Familiarity with API standards, unit/integration testing, and using SonarQube.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, or shell scripting.
• Understanding of Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines.
