Senior Software Development Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services that underpin our applications and infrastructure.

• Create secure and efficient APIs to facilitate frontend applications and third-party integrations.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability through effective architectural design and engineering best practices.

• Collaborate closely with product managers and frontend engineers to create backend solutions that meet business and user requirements.

• Maintain high availability, fault tolerance, and performance of backend systems.

• Monitor system health, address issues, and implement enhancements to boost efficiency and stability.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development and distributed systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in developing applications utilizing cloud-based technologies (Java/AWS stack).

• Proven experience in constructing backend services and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with building microservices.

• Experience in working with AWS cloud environments.

• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers, product managers, and system administrators.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
