Senior Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Creating web-based applications utilizing technologies such as .NET, C#, Node, AngularJS, React, Redis, MS SQL, ElasticSearch, and AWS.

• Conducting daily maintenance and support for all current applications utilized at Filevine.

• Ensuring the quality of the software is maintained and optimized.

• Innovating and enhancing the software, features, processes, and technologies.

• Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving issues and bugs as they arise.

• Performing thorough and constructive code reviews.

• Collaborating within the assigned team to fulfill assigned responsibilities, while mentoring, training, and evaluating junior engineers.

• Participating in an on-call rotation with fellow team members to deliver escalated emergency support.

• Communicating regularly, clearly, and effectively with a variety of technical and management audiences.

• Assessing and enhancing the scalability and performance of high-traffic, information-dense web applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a software engineer with a demonstrated ability to deliver value to businesses.

• Proficient in efficiently coding with NodeJs, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

• Highly skilled in working with frameworks such as Angular and React.

• Experienced with source control systems like GitHub.

• Proven ability to lead initiatives and work independently on assigned projects or collaboratively with team members, setting an example and fostering efficiency and productivity in others.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire application development life cycle.
