Senior Software Developer – .NET, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee and improve our current SaaS application utilizing C#, Visual Basic .NET, and ASP.NET Web Forms.

• Design and enhance database-driven functionalities using SQL and T-SQL.

• Conduct independent analysis and successfully implement intricate technical requirements.

• Assist in development and deployment processes, including GitHub, and preferably Octopus Deploy.

• Maintain code quality through pull requests, code reviews, and automated testing.

• Advance our testing strategy and broaden test automation efforts.

• Offer technical assistance to the team via knowledge sharing, collaborative solution creation, and the promotion of effective development and testing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of professional experience in software development with a strong command of C# and Visual Basic .NET.

• Comprehensive understanding of ASP.NET Web Forms, SQL, and T-SQL.

• Background in maintaining and evolving legacy or longstanding applications.

• Experience in operating and developing SaaS applications.

• Familiarity with deployment procedures, preferably with Octopus Deploy.

• Proficient in using GitHub, including pull requests and code reviews.

• Experience with automated testing, encompassing unit, integration, and regression tests.

• Demonstrated independent and analytical working style, with a readiness to share knowledge and provide technical support to peers.
