Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement comprehensive software applications and automation solutions.

• Collaborate with the Software Architect and Platform Development Manager in both Azure and traditional datacenter settings.

• Serve as an escalation resource for maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting legacy applications.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members.

• Maintain runbooks, knowledge bases, and documentation articles.

• Engage in the development of complex and scalable applications.

• Work in partnership with data science, platform automation, designers, developers, product managers, and business units.

• Develop, maintain, and resolve issues in web and mobile applications.

• Create, maintain, and debug automations and scripts.

• Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly documented code.

• Participate in technology evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Lead code reviews and improve technology process frameworks.

• Troubleshoot software and scripting issues while conducting root cause analysis.

• Test and implement applications, scripts, and cloud-based technologies.

• Stay updated on emerging trends, development tools, programming methodologies, and industry standards.

• Safeguard operations and uphold HIPAA compliance by ensuring confidentiality and adhering to guidelines.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.

• Over 7 years of experience as a software developer.

• More than 7 years of experience in root cause analysis and various troubleshooting techniques.

• Comprehensive understanding and over 5 years of experience in implementing Well Architected Frameworks.

• More than 7 years of experience with functional, imperative, and object-oriented programming languages; familiarity with C# and Java is preferred.

• At least 4 years of experience with scripting languages such as Python.

• Over 4 years of experience with Azure-based microservices and infrastructure.

• Proven experience in coding, testing, and documenting complex systems.

• Proficiency in using version control systems such as GIT.

• Experience in communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates, and adhere to production schedules.

• Familiarity with professional software engineering best practices throughout the entire software development life cycle.

• Experience with coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational practices.

• Knowledge of unit testing methodologies.

• A strong willingness and eagerness to learn new technologies.

• More than 5 years of experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL.

• Over 5 years of experience working with Azure DevOps, including code repositories, task tracking, automated testing, CI builds, and release pipelines.

• Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects at once.

• Capability to apply the Azure Well Architected Framework in designs, troubleshooting, and deployments.

• Quick learning ability across diverse technologies and programming languages.

• Proficiency in resolving complex problems in an organized manner.

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment as part of a Scrum team.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
