Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain APIs, web applications, and mobile software.

• Recommend scalable and secure technical solutions that meet business requirements.

• Engage in SCRUM ceremonies, including refinements, planning sessions, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Assist the team with the technical breakdown of tasks, estimations, and architectural decision-making.

• Maintain code quality through Clean Code practices, testing protocols, and code reviews.

• Analyze production issues, suggest solutions, and enhance observability for critical workflows.

• Utilize AI tools to boost code analysis, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, task automation, and overall team productivity.

• Work alongside DevOps/infrastructure teams on pipelines, environments, deployments, and integrations with Azure services.

• Generate the software artifacts that the squad is responsible for delivering.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology (including technologist, undergraduate, or postgraduate degree in IT).

• Proven senior-level experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React.

• Practical experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.

• Strong understanding of React Native or a willingness to engage with the project's mobile application.

• Familiarity with Oracle, relational modeling, queries, and database migrations.

• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and staging/production environments.

• Experience working in SCRUM and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

• Capability to produce clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Excellent technical communication skills, self-motivation, and a strong sense of responsibility for deliverables.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Managed Identity.

• Nice to have: experience with Playwright and end-to-end (E2E) testing methodologies.

• Nice to have: background in mobile applications that incorporate camera functionality, OCR, geolocation, and offline features.

• Nice to have: understanding of API security, secrets management, and best practices for deployment.

• Nice to have: proficient use of AI tools in everyday development and operational tasks.
