Senior Software Architect – Full Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Further development and implementation of the corporate architecture in collaboration with international teams.

• Design of architectural strategies and alignment with management and the architecture board.

• Organization, moderation, and follow-up of architectural decisions.

• Advising management and prioritizing projects in conjunction with product management.

• Analyzing existing systems and developing innovative software solutions.

• Promoting modern technologies, agile methods, and engineering standards.

• Ensuring compliance with architectural principles, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in an international setting.

• Supporting employees and actively accompanying change processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in the healthcare or public sector.

• Strong understanding of modern software architectures and development methodologies (e.g., SOA, APIs, Cloud, CI/CD).

• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Ideally, knowledge of regulatory requirements in healthcare and experience with international teams.

• Excellent communication skills, empathy, and social competence.

• Ability to motivate teams and connect technical and functional perspectives.

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a high sense of responsibility.

• Very good proficiency in German and English.

• Composure in handling conflicts, feedback, and decision-making processes.
