Senior Social Media Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the comprehensive social strategy for each account, encompassing platform mix, posting frequency, and tone of voice.

• Create, schedule, and publish around 25 high-quality posts weekly across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube.

• Transform long-form content and recordings into platform-specific assets that foster engagement.

• Serve as the brand's voice by monitoring and replying to all comments and messages within a 24-hour timeframe.

• Daily management of online communities, including welcoming new members and initiating weekly discussions.

• Provide monthly performance reports for each account, offering data-driven insights on reach, engagement, and growth.

• Regularly assess performance to determine effective strategies and adjust approaches as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in owning social media strategy rather than merely implementing a pre-established plan.

• Strong history of managing multiple accounts simultaneously, preferably within an agency context.

• Outstanding written English skills, capable of crafting compelling copy and engaging in advanced community management.

• Highly organized and dependable, with the ability to maintain consistent output across various brands.

• Comfortable working UK business hours and adhering to strict weekly scheduling deadlines.

• Experience in an agency environment managing a variety of external client accounts.

• Practical community management experience.

• Confidence in client-facing situations to present strategies and reports as the team grows.
