This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee the execution of domestic and international field projects for Nuclear Inspection Services.
• Manage field projects related to IVVI, IVUT, and Drywell inspection product lines during power plant outages.
• Collaborate with business leaders to plan and implement project work scopes aligned with Integrity, Safety, Quality, and Output standards.
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships to facilitate effective project execution.
• Contribute to the development of strategies and policies for Inspection Services.
• Utilize best practices and competitive market insights in project work.
• Analyze data and leverage technical expertise to support decision-making and recommendations.
• Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues and lead smaller projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
• Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively and foster consensus.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to contracted and craft labor at client sites.
• Assist business leaders during the Inquiry to Order phase and in the proposal development process.
• Ensure compliance with project metrics and contractual or internal procedural expectations.
• Conduct reviews and closures of internal and external projects.
• Store and transfer project data and information into approved storage systems.
• Report directly to the Inspection Services Director.
• Coordinate with business leaders and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of projects within budget, schedule, and scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of experience in the Nuclear Industry.
• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in Nuclear-related fields or 5 years in STEM-related project management roles.
• Capability to maintain access for and execute both domestic and international project deliveries.
• Willingness and ability to travel 60% of the time, including 12-hour days, 7 days a week while on the road.
• Ability to maintain Unescorted Access to client sites and properties.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record in analyzing and resolving issues effectively.
• Demonstrated capability to lead programs and projects.
• Proficient in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
• Established project management competencies.
• Eligibility to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
• PMI/PMP Certification is preferred.
• Preferred knowledge of Nuclear/Energy products, processes, customers, markets, and competition.
• Strong technical knowledge/experience with PWR ISI, including in-vessel, drywell, and BOP ISI techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Oracle ERP, PLM, and Primavera P6 is preferred.
