Senior ServiceNow App Engine Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to comprehend and document business outcomes and functional requirements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deploy ServiceNow solutions that align with the specified requirements and adhere to industry best practices.

• Assist in the design and execution of data migration from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency throughout the process.

• Aid architects and senior developers in integrating ServiceNow with various systems and applications to establish seamless end-to-end processes.

• Develop comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, data schemas, and other technical decisions for future reference.

• Perform rigorous testing of ServiceNow configurations to validate functionality, data integrity, and user experience.

• Provide support for end-user training to facilitate smooth adoption of the implemented solution.

• Contribute to change management efforts by assisting senior developers, architects, and users during the transition phase, addressing questions, and resolving issues promptly.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory (required by the federal government for this position).

• Must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.

• CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this role pertains to a federal contract and applicable laws.

• Over 6 years of experience in software development.

• At least 2 years of experience in implementing ServiceNow solutions.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in scoped application/custom application development utilizing App Engine.
