Senior ServiceNow Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the health of the ServiceNow instance, including upgrades and patches.

• Configure and sustain ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SPM, ITAM, and SecOps.

• Track performance and resolve issues to maintain platform stability.

• Create and manage user roles, groups, and permissions effectively.

• Ensure adherence to security and governance policies.

• Implement advanced UI policies, business rules, workflows, and notifications.

• Lead integrations with third-party systems and APIs.

• Identify automation and process optimization opportunities.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.

• Develop and sustain dashboards and reports for stakeholders.

• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior administrators.

• Work collaboratively with IT leadership and stakeholders to provide strategic service management solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience administering ServiceNow in an enterprise setting.

• Expertise in ServiceNow administration and configuration.

• Advanced knowledge of scripting languages, including JavaScript and Glide API.

• Proficient understanding of ServiceNow integrations and APIs.

• Strong grasp of ITIL processes and the architecture of ServiceNow.

• ServiceNow System Administrator and Implementation Specialist Certifications are required.

• ITIL v4 Foundation Certification is necessary.

• Capability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.

• Experience in leading platform upgrades, migrations, and intricate integrations is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, APIs, and performance tuning is advantageous.
