This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Take charge of organic content performance.
• Create and implement a global SEO content strategy that aligns with Valtech's identity as The Experience Innovation Company.
• Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to pinpoint content gaps and topic clusters across key sectors, including retail, automotive, financial services, health, and B2B.
• Collaborate with regional marketing teams to ensure the global strategy is effectively executed in a locally relevant manner.
• Brief and produce long-form content such as thought leadership pieces, guides, case study landing pages, and pillar pages, providing clear direction on search intent, structure, and narrative angle.
• Partner with subject matter experts, practice leads, and leadership to highlight Valtech's most unique insights.
• Maintain Valtech's brand voice across all commissioned content: confident, optimistic, and human, avoiding jargon.
• Monitor and report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, content engagement, and conversion performance.
• Conduct regular content audits and prioritize a refresh backlog to maximize SEO impact.
• Stay informed about algorithm changes, AI-driven search trends, and best practices for LLM-optimized content (LLMO).
• Integrate SEO considerations into the content creation process in collaboration with copywriters, designers, and editors.
• Work alongside the Martech, Demand Generation, and Campaign teams to support the entire funnel.
• Collaborate with the web team to apply on-page SEO best practices, including metadata, internal linking, structured data, and page experience signals.
• A minimum of 4 years in SEO content strategy, preferably in B2B or professional services.
• Demonstrated success in increasing organic traffic and enhancing keyword rankings at scale.
• Excellent writing abilities — capable of making complex concepts clear and engaging.
• Proficient in SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and GA4.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and the ability to collaborate with developers to implement recommendations.
• Experience in briefing and commissioning content from writers, designers, and subject matter experts.
• Skilled in data storytelling and performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Experience navigating complex, matrixed, and global organizations.
