📋 Description

• In the role of Senior SEO Account Manager, you will serve as the main contact for a portfolio of home service business owners in the U.S., overseeing the entire process from strategy development to execution and client communication.

• You will manage a portfolio of 8–10 client accounts, acting as the primary liaison for each business owner and taking full responsibility for their local search performance and satisfaction.

• You will lead onboarding calls, conduct monthly strategy reviews, and perform regular check-ins, confidently and authoritatively communicating with business owners who expect detailed information rather than generalities.

• You will audit local search presence and develop tailored SEO strategies, identifying performance gaps, recognizing growth opportunities, and executing plans with precision across all accounts.

• You will optimize and actively manage Google Business Profiles, including regular posts, photo uploads, Q&A management, review strategies, and ongoing optimizations to ensure profiles are performing at their best.

• You will implement on-site SEO enhancements for WordPress websites, addressing technical fixes, content optimization, internal linking, and metadata updates in line with local search best practices.

• You will build and maintain local citations and directory listings, ensuring consistency of NAP and citation health across all relevant platforms.

• You will monitor rankings, traffic, and lead metrics using tools such as BrightLocal, Whitespark, GSC, and GA4, translating data into clear, actionable insights that clients can easily understand and act upon.

• You will support social media management for select accounts, contributing to content planning and posting when required, alongside the core SEO responsibilities.

• You will stay updated on Google algorithm changes and local SEO trends, proactively adjusting strategies before clients feel any impact.

• You will work comfortably with AI and automation tools utilized by the agency to enhance SEO workflows, leveraging technology to achieve more efficient and effective results.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of practical local SEO experience, with a proven history of driving measurable improvements in rankings and traffic for local businesses in a competitive search environment.

• Strong expertise in optimizing Google Business Profiles—you are well-versed in every available lever and consistently pull them, not just when convenient.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts within an agency setting, holding yourself accountable for results rather than just activities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English—you communicate confidently and knowledgeably with business owners, providing specific actionable recommendations without resorting to vague strategies.

• Solid understanding of on-site SEO for local businesses, including WordPress implementation, technical fundamentals, and content optimization.

• A strong work ethic and proactive attitude—you go above and beyond the minimum requirements, bringing enthusiasm to every client interaction and taking initiative without prompting.

• Availability to work U.S. Central or Eastern Time hours, effectively serving both East and West Coast clients within your portfolio.

• Comfort with AI tools and marketing automation platforms, as the agency relies heavily on automation and you need to operate efficiently within that framework.

• A reliable internet connection and a professional remote home office setup.

• Bonus: experience in the home services or trades industry, such as HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, or landscaping.

• Bonus: familiarity with tools like BrightLocal, Whitespark, GA4, Google Search Console, or Google Local Services Ads (LSAs).

• Bonus: experience in social media management in conjunction with SEO within an agency context.
